Over the last two weeks or so, Anthony Davis has enjoyed one of the best stretches of his career.
He had four straight games with at least 35 points and 15 rebounds, and even though the San Antonio Spurs aggressively double-teamed him on Friday, he still managed to get 25 points and 15 rebounds while shooting an incredible 10-of-13 from the field.
Not coincidentally, the Lakers won four of those five contests, improving their record to 6-11 on the season.
Los Angeles takes on the Spurs again on Saturday, but unfortunately, Davis will not be in action due to a left calf contusion that occurred on Friday.
Anthony Davis is out tonight with a left calf contusion that he suffered last night against San Antonio.
LeBron James officially a game-time decision, but plans to play.

Getting another victory without him will be critical to the team’s playoff hopes moving forward.
