Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have provided a highly-anticipated update on the new All-Star spin-off of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! which has begun filming in South Africa. The presenters also offered an update on the 2022 series of the popular ITV show, which is returning to the Australian jungle in autumn after a two-year stint in Wales.

Sharing a video on their social media pages, Ant and Dec revealed they were currently filming for the spin-off.
They wrote: "South Africaaaaaaa! That's right, we're filming a very special version of I'm A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023." The pair then recorded a clip for their followers, explaining what's to come.

"Hello everybody, we've got news," Dec told cameras: "It's probably the worst kept secret in television but we can confirm we are doing a very special series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in South Africa."
The boys then cheered as they showed viewers their spectacular surroundings, with Dec telling fans: "Look at this joint." Sharing details of the special, he added: "We are here, it's going to be your favourite celebrities from the last 20 years who are going back in to do it one more time, it's South Africa."
The pair then confirmed the 2022 series would be returning to Australia after a two-year stint at Gwrych Castle in Wales. The series was filmed in Abergele in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
"But are we going to Australia, Declan?" Ant asked, "Yes we are, this year we are going back to Australia," Dec replied.
"So when will the South African show be on?" Ant queried. "This will be on next year, so normal Australia in 2022 and South Africa in 2023."
