Ant and Dec took to Twitter to apologise to fans following the introduction of an energetic new game on their ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway.
Viewers loved the Ring My Bell segment, which went live to the homes of audience members via their doorbell camera as neighbours raced to ring the bell for a cash prize.
But many fans complained that the sound of the doorbells had sent their dogs mad, thinking that someone was at their door.
