Ant and Dec apologised as they explained why they have pulled out of the National Television Awards.
The popular hosts are once again up for the TV presenter award, which they have won for the last 20 years. However, the national treasures took to Twitter to reveal they won't be able to attend tonight's ceremony after they both tested positive for coronavirus.
They said: "Sadly, it’s true… We even get ill together! After feeling unwell a few days ago we both tested and we’re positive for Covid

"We’re resting up at home and are so sorry we can’t be at #NTAs2022 Best of luck everyone and get well soon to anyone else in the same boat x" Ant and Dec will battle it out against Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh, and Graham Norton for the coveted TV presenter prize this year.
The presenters of Good Morning Britain shared a shock prediction today that Alison may finally break Ant and Dec's dominance. Kate Garraway said: "" Alison Hammond I think might be in with a shout. I love Ant and Dec, but if isn't them I'd love it to be Alison Hammond."
Susanna Reid agreed as she added: "It's been them every single year so I can imagine even Ant and Dec think it's time for someone other than Ant and Dec. Maybe it is Alison."
