There's plenty of takeaways that serve wings in Leeds, but we wanted to try one that does things a little different that stands out from the rest. Some may not know that DJ Khaled opened his own wing joint in Leeds.
The American rapper and award-winning producer, has opened a chain of wing restaurants named Another Wing across the UK, US, Canada, France, and the UAE. The Louisiana-born Grammy winner certainly didn't forget about Leeds opening a venue in Kirkstall Road, Burley which delivers across the city.
It has received hundreds of four and five-star reviews on TripAdvisor, and the eatery has 11,400 followers on the company's Instagram page. Reviews says it serves the 'best wings', that taste 'sooooo good'.

So we decided to see what all the fuss is about and ordered some goodies from their menu via Uber Eats.
Meeting the Uber driver, I was handed a bright neon pink and green bag, printed with black cars and palm trees. The packaging was so eye-catching and it definitely felt like this takeaway had come from a superstar, and reminded me of Miami.
Opening up the bag all the food was neatly placed in boxes, lined with bright green tissue with the brand's logo on. Without a doubt I needed to tuck into the wings first - the takeaway's signature dish.
I opted for the six piece Buffalo wing combo, with a side of loaded waffle fries and a number of spicy sauces. The menu at Another Wing is quite small, but I like this as it lets the takeaway focus on what it does best.
Tucking into the wings, they were cooked to perfection, drenched in the 'Un Believable Buffalo' sauce, and the chicken beautifully fell off the bone. The flavour really came to the fore.
For an extra spicy kick, I dipped a few wings into the Honey! Honey! Hot Louisiana sauce which tasted amazing, but this is not for the faint-heated. Both the wings and the sauces were quite spicy but I asked for my dishes to come this way.
For those who aren't spice lovers you can get wings plain with sauce on the side if preferred.
Accompanying the wings were the loaded fries. The Winning Waffle fries were drenched lightly in a spicy mayonnaise sauce, onion bits and jalapenos. The waffles were crisp, and the inside was so soft. I loved the combination of flavours the eatery used to create the loaded fries.
This takeaway is perfect for people like me who love their food covered in herbs, spices, sauce and oozing in flavour.
The portion size was very good and the waffle fries could be ordered as a main meal. I would definitely get these delivered again.
On the menu, there is crispy chicken tenders so I ordered three of these and was so glad I gave them a try. Without sounding like a broken record, they were packed full of flavour and the chicken was beautiful and soft. The skin was crispy and left me saying 'oh my god' when I took the first bite.
I dipped these in vegan garlic mayonnaise and the You Smart Chipotle mayonnaise which provided a delicious accompaniment. I would argue that these were better than the restaurant's signature wings. I will be ordering these again!
When ordering on the app, there was a dessert offer to finish off the meal, so I couldn't resist. I ordered the Don't Play Your Self cookie, and wow, it was good. Pulling the cookie apart into two, the chocolate inside pealed apart. The cookie was gooey and tickled my sweet tooth.
The dessert finished off the meal nicely. One thing I would say is the takeaway is somewhat expensive. £3.95 seems a bit much for a cookie. I understand that it is owned by a celebrity, but it feels like the prices are the same from London to Dubai, rather than being suited specifically to Leeds.
This is my new favourite wing spot in Leeds and I would definitely be ordering from Another Wing again as it was jaw-droppingly good. With it being on the pricier side I would consider it as a treat.
