Another Six Flags roller coaster shut down due to safety issue

A 300-foot roller coaster at Six Flags’ Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio has been shut down due to a safety issue — a week after a parkgoer in Georgia fell to his death on a ride.

The Millennium Force coaster immediately closed Friday after a small bracket dislodged from a car and landed in a guest area, a Six Flags spokesperson told The Independent. The bracket didn’t hit any guests or employees, and no injuries were reported.
