Another shop on Beeston high street to permanently close

Another shop will soon close on a Nottinghamshire town's high street. It has been announced the O2 shop on High Road in Beeston will permanently close on October 31.

The staff currently working in the shop will be relocated to different O2 stores. After the closure, the nearest O2 shop will be in the Victoria Centre.

A new Sainsbury's replaced the former O2 shop on Clumber Street last year. A statement, posted to the Beeston store's Facebook page, said: "Our store will be closing permanently on October 31st and our team relocating to alternative stores.

"Our whole team would like to thank all our customers over the years. We're still open to help until that date, or you can call our stores contact centre on 0116 326 1010 for any help with accounts and upgrades"

Previously NatWest has confirmed its branch in High Road, Beeston, would close on January 25, 2023. This followed the Barclays in Chilwell Road, Beeston, shutting its doors for the final time on September 9.
