We saw the third member of the Ohio State football team enter the transfer portal on Tuesday. Second-year safety, Jantzen Dunn, broke the news in the simplest way possible on Tuesday via a Twitter post. He joins safety Jaylen Johnson and linebacker Teradja Mitchell in entering the portal since the end of the regular season.
Out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dunn was a four-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, but suffered a season-ending injury early in the 2021 season and has struggled to get back on the field since.
OSU has a few defensive backs that have since passed him on the depth chart, so it seems safe to assume that Dunn is looking for better opportunities and a fresh start somewhere else.
I have entered the transfer portal.
