A fourth consecutive lay day has been called for the World Surf League's G-Land event in Indonesia, and two-time world champion Tyler Wright will be hoping for some more poor conditions.
Strong westerly winds destroyed the three-to-five foot surf on offer on Wednesday, with organisers to reconvene on Thursday.
Australian Wright has been ruled out until June 4 after testing positive to COVID-19 earlier in the week.
June 4 is just two days before the competition window is set to close, meaning Wright will need two more lay days if she hopes to compete again in the event.
Only the first round of the women and men's events have been run so far.
If Wright is available, she will take on West Australian Bronte Macaulay in the elimination second round when competition resumes, while Sally Fitzgibbons faces Isabella Nichols in another all-Australian match-up.
