Anna Maxwell Martin 'unites' ITV Saturday Night Takeaway viewers as they make the same observation

There was more chaos on screens on Saturday night as TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returned with their much-loved, hit show.

Saturday Night Takeaway was back on ITV following a week's break much to fans' delight and it turned out to be a night of comical errors as viewers noticed several technical issues hitting the family entertainment show.

The blunders included the show cutting to the wrong family home when showing the Happiest Minute of the Week segment where nominated audience members and viewers win a voucher to spend on a holiday of their choice and during a game of Read My Lips, again to win a free holiday, the hosts were forced to halt the game and re-start it when a contestant started reading out the wrong words.

There was also confusion from viewers when crooning sensation Michael Buble opened the show with his brand new single before ending the programme in the End of the Show, Show.

But it was guest announcer Anna Maxwell Martin who got viewers talking as she appeared on the show from her own commentator booth, rocking a gold sparkly dress with choker neck detail.

The actress, known for her roles in Motherland and Line of Duty, was also part of the almost disastrous yet totally hilarious Read My Lips game which saw her having to guess the TV shows the contestants were mouthing on the screen via video link. However, it went wrong when the third player came on and instead of naming programmes such as Coronation Street and Tipping Point, she mouthed the names of foods including nachos and biriyani.
