Anna Geary has announced the death of her father Michael.
The heartbroken star from Co. Cork shared the sad news with her friends and fans on social media on Wednesday evening and said that he passed away one week ago.
The Ireland's Fittest Family star wrote: "Rest easy Dad. How has it been a week. 16-03-2022."

The All Ireland winning camogie star also shared a collection of photographs of her father and her family throughout his life, including snapshots of her and her sibling proudly posing with hurls with him as children and memories from her wedding day.
Fans and friends rushed to offer their condolences to the RTE TV and radio star, with
Miriam O’Callaghan saying: “So terribly sorry to hear this Anna - what a wonderful father he clearly was - no worries, he will now mind you forever from Heaven.”
Dancing with the Stars backstage presenter James Patrice said: "Oh Anna I’m so very sorry. Sending love and thinking of you."
Ireland AM presenter Muireann O’Connell said: “Anna, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I hope you and your family are doing ok.”
Social media star Tadhg Fleming wrote: “So sorry to hear Anna. Thoughts and prayers to you and the fam.”
Irish footballer Stephanie Roche added: “Aww Anna I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope you’re doing ok. Look after yourself.”
Anna’s beloved father died at home, after a “brief illness”, a notice on RIP.ie said.
He was laid to rest on Saturday at Milford Church in Cork.
The announcement read: “Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ellen Ann (nee Danaher), daughter Anna (Sexton), son Thomas (& his partner Mary Ita Murphy), son-in-law Kevin, brothers David, Martin & Jim, sisters Siobhán (Roberts), Máire (Deering) & Mairéad (McLoughlin), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.”
The online notice went on: “Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society or Milford Hospice.”
