Four out of five heats in the women’s 400-meter hurdles have been completed at the ongoing competition. The latest heat saw Team USA’s Anna Cockerel clinching the top spot, followed by Great Britain’s Lina Nielsen in second place and Jamaica’s Janieve Russell in third.
All eyes are now on American Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, the reigning gold medalist in this event from the Tokyo Games and the current world record holder. McLaughlin-Levrone is set to compete in the upcoming heat and is widely considered the favorite to secure another victory in Paris.
