ANNA Cake Couture in Clifton Village announces new branch outside of Bristol

Popular Clifton shop and cafe ANNA Cake Couture is opening a new branch outside of Bristol. The premium cupcake, macaron and special occasion cake supplier is set to open its second site, in the new Newport Market development in early August.

After nearly seven years of establishing the business in Clifton Village, ANNA Cake Couture has grown into a destination spot for people across Bristol and beyond. This next step will offer those in South Wales the opportunity to try the array of beautifully presented high quality cake based products.

Anna Tyler, founder of ANNA Cake Couture, says: “We can’t wait to open our doors and bring our much loved cakes, cupcakes, macarons and other sweet treats to South Wales. I’m so excited at the prospect of opening in a new area and having the opportunity to share our products with more customers.

“This is such an exciting time for the business. I’m really looking forward to watching it grow and develop further over the next couple of months and beyond.”

On the counter, customers can expect products like freshly baked gooey New York style cookies, beautifully decorated cupcakes, more than ten flavours of handmade signature macarons and other seasonal offerings. ANNA Cake Couture will be using the new Newport Market site as a collection point for occasion cake orders.

The new shop will sit next to an array of other businesses at Newport Market, Europe’s biggest indoor market regeneration, which is situated in the heart of the city. The site is packed with a diverse community of independent food and drink traders, with a common goal to bring a wide variety of high quality produce to the local community.

ANNA Cake Couture, whose Instagram page has more than 78,000 followers, will be the latest Bristol food business to open at Newport Market. Earlier this year, Seven Lucky Gods and Flour & Ash both opened sites there.
