THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An investigation report by the chief marshal of the legislative assembly regarding the entry of Anitha Pullayil, an Italy-based Keralite who had earlier courted controversies, inside the assembly during the Loka Kerala Sabha (LKS), has said that she was present in the complex on both days of the event.
Even though she was present inside the complex, she had not entered the Sankaranarayanan Thampi hall, where the event was going on, the report is learnt to have said. The report further said that she had interacted with several persons in the corridors and premises of the assembly complex and with Sabha TV employees inside the office of the same.
The report is also learnt to have said that Sabha TV employees had accompanied her when she was asked to leave by the watch and ward. However, it remains unclear through which entrance she had entered the high-security assembly complex. The report was prepared by the chief marshal after recording the statements of six watch and ward officials deployed at the time in the complex. The chief marshal also examined the CCTV footage from various locations inside the complex.
However, Norka, the organizer of the event, had clarified that she was not invited to the event. Anitha had become controversial because of her alleged connections with fraudster Monson Mavunkal. She was an LKS member in the last two editions of the event.
