Animal sanctuary forced to stop rescuing dogs following a single noise complaint

An animal sanctuary has been told they can no longer rescue dogs following a noise complaint.

Assisi Animal Sanctuary, in Newtownards, Northern Ireland, is today having to secure emergency shelter for at least 12 dogs who can no longer live on their site.

They have issued a desperate plea for foster carers to come forward for the dogs currently in their care.
