MUMBAI: Anil Patel, the secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association, has been appointed as the manager of Team India for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at The Oval in Kennington, London from June 7-11.
Patel has previously been appointed the manager of the Indian team on various tours in the past. He was the manager of the Indian Under-19 team that lost to Bangladesh in the final of the U-19 World Cup in February 2020.
"Patel will leave for London with the remaining players (those whose teams feature in the playoffs) after the conclusion of the IPL," a source in the Board told TOI.
