Unhappy Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has issued a warning as he reiterates his desire to part ways with the German giants.
The Polish international has been vocal about his hopes to depart Bayern this summer with Barcelona his preferred destination.
The 33-year-old striker has submitted a transfer request with his current contract expiring in 12 months time.
Lewandowski has enjoyed an outstanding career with the German outfit, winning eight successive Bundesliga titles as well as lifting the Champions League trophy with the side.
He has netted a remarkable 344 goals in 375 Bayern appearances.
But now the relationships looks to have turned sour, with the star providing an update on his current situation.
Despite success at Bayern, the experience has not went hand and hand with happiness, and now the striker is desperate to leave the club.
Speaking to Polish outlet OnetSport about his desire to depart, the foward did not hold back.
“I just want to leave Bayern. Loyalty and respect are more important than the work," he said.
“The best thing to do is find a solution together. They didn’t want to listen to me until the end.
“Something died inside me - and it’s impossible to get over that. Even if you want to be professional, you can’t make up for it.
“During so many years at the club I was always ready, available, despite injuries and the pain, I gave my best.
“I think the best thing to do is to find a good solution for both sides. And not to look for a one-sided decision.
“I’m not looking for a unilateral solution, that makes no sense, not after so much time, after such a successful era and with my will and support."
Lewandowski's frustrations saw him lash out at the club, warning that potential stars would be reluctant to make the move to Munich in the future if they don't allow him to end his eight-year stay at the Allianz Stadium.
He said“What kind of player will want to go to Bayern knowing that something like this could happen to them?
“Where are the loyalty and respect then? I have always been ready, I spent eight nice years here, I met wonderful people and I would like it to stay that way in my mind."
Liverpool' s Sadio Mane has been linked with a move to Bayern this summer, with the German giants' initial bid of £25 million rebuffed by the Reds.
The forward could provide a replacement for Lewandowski at the Allianz Arena.
But Polish international's admission could act as a word of warning to the Senegalese star.
