Angry ITV This Morning views say they felt force to 'turn off' their screens after comments made by stand-in presenter Richard Madeley.

The 65-year-old broadcaster hosted Monday's edition of the popular morning news programme alongside stalwart Susanna Reid.

It was the first time the I'm A Celebrity contestant had anchored the show for two weeks and he opened the programme with a scathing criticism of the government, reports the Mirror.
