Angelyne, the new Peacock/Now TV show was released on Thursday and it looks like it’s got all the elements of a summer hit: a packed cast that includes Emmy Rossum, Martin Freeman and Lukas Gage; a busty blonde; outrageous Eighties fashion; a real-life drama; and a magazine investigation.

The series is based on the true story of Angelyne — the mysterious woman whose giant personal ads inundated LA in 1984.
