Ángela Aguilar launches 'La Llorona,' a Día de Muertos doll with her face.

In Spanish

The Mexican music artist Ángela Aguilar announced on her social media that she will be releasing 'La Llorona,' the fourth doll in her collection, inspired by the 'Día de Muertos' celebration.

"Angelitxs! I'm very excited to present to you the new edition of my doll 'La Llorona' to celebrate and honor the tradition of Día de Muertos with you all. You can already purchase it in pre-sale at a special price with a surprise gift included!" Ángela wrote in a post that accompanied a video on Instagram.

In the video, the doll is seen dressed in an outfit similar to those the artist wears in her performances. It features a black corset with orange and yellow embroidery resembling marigold flowers, paired with a floral-printed skirt.

On her head, the doll sports a crown of yellow and orange flowers, along with large earrings and a gold pendant of the Virgin of Guadalupe along with a sort of transparent veil on the back of her head.

Ángela Aguilar's Products

In addition to 'La Llorona,' Ángela also has three other dolls available on her website, all modeled after her. The first was the 'Tricolor' doll, dressed in the colors of the Mexican flag, followed by the 'Dime Como Quieres' doll, styled after the outfit the artist wore in the music video of her song of the same name, alongside her now-husband, Christian Nodal. The third doll is 'La Chiapaneca,' wearing a traditional dress from southern Mexico.

'La Llorona' is currently available for pre-sale at $55 in the United States and 700 Mexican pesos for Latin America. Additionally, buyers will receive a free CD of the album 'Mexicano hasta los huesos' as a gift.

Ángela also posted a promotional video on YouTube where the doll is shown, the iconic Mexican song 'La Llorona' being played in the background.

The Aguilar Family in Colombia

Aside from the launch of this new product, Ángela Aguilar has a busy schedule ahead of her. On October 25, she will be performing in Bogotá with her father, Pepe Aguilar, and her brother, Leonardo Aguilar.

Then, on November 10, the Latin Grammy-related events will kick off in Miami. This year, Ángela has earned her first solo nomination, independent of her family, for her album 'Boleros.'
