The Ange Postecoglou era at Tottenham is underway as the Australian coach looks to take the club in a completely new direction. The appointment of the former Celtic boss has been a switch in approach from chairman Daniel Levy, who had appointed Antonio Conte, Nuno Espirito Santo and Jose Mourinho as his last three head coaches.
Postecoglou is tasked with returning Spurs back towards the top, competing for trophies, but in the short term, rekindling that relationship with the supporters. Entertaining football may go a long way towards building bridges once again, building excitement towards the team once again.
The summer transfer window offers the chance for a squad overhaul too, with a number of exits required to thin numbers after missing out on European football while also moving towards a side that can play the new coach's style. Plenty of steps have been taken towards doing just that.
