Ange Postecoglou says his Celtic team had to show grit and determination to get things over the line against St Johnstone.
The Hoops had led 1-0 heading into the final 10 minutes of the Premiership match at McDiarmid Park despite dominating possession and chances throughout the match. It looked like they had suffered a damaging draw when Alex Mitchell headed home after 93 minutes but Giorgos Giakoumakis hit back a minute later to spark scenes of ecstasy in the Celtic away end..
It's the character displayed by his men which really won over the boss. Postecoglou told Sky Sports: "We should have put the game to bed a lot earlier and at 1-0 the opposition always feel they’re in it and it doesn’t take much. A scramble in the box, they’ve got threats from set pieces and we concede late.

“Credit to the lads, we went there a few times last year and it’s good to know if required it’s still there. You have to have that through the course of the season.
"We’d love everything to run smoothly and it’s a game we really should have finished off a lot earlier. We went to the last minute but it’s important to show that character.
He also confirmed pre-match that captain Callum McGregor will be missing until after the World Cup break next month with a knee injury.
Postecoglou explained: "We haven't got the final report but it looks like he'll miss the next three, four weeks which will put him out until after the break."
