Ange Postecoglou has told rival managers ‘they are kidding themselves on’ if they think the Celtic job is ‘lucky’ or ‘easy’.
The Celtic boss has fired back at notions that his success in Glasgow has been simple. Rangers boss Michael Beale famously labelled the Hoops boss ‘lucky’ due to his financial backing from Parkhead chiefs and this week Hibs boss Lee Johnson suggested that Postecoglou might eventually find Scottish football too ‘easy’.
Celtic have the treble on their radar this season, with the Hoops already closing in on retaining their Scottish Premiership title having already secured the ViaPlay Cup. And Postecoglou whose mantra is ‘we never stop’ has told rivals his hard work never stops as his side face the pressure to win every match.
