Ange Postecoglou shrugs off Celtic transfer 'instability' as he responds to Juranovic and Giakoumakis poser

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says he's yet to see anything concrete in terms of offers for Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic. And until he does, he won't be sweating the duo's futures.

Record Sport told late last year how contract talks with Giakoumakis had broken down while Juranovic looks to be in a similar situation and both players have found themselves out of favour since the World Cup break. Sampdoria are said to be in for the Greek while Juranovic could join him in Serie A if Torino or Monza make their moves, but Postecoglou insists for now, they are focused on Saturday evening's Viaplay Cup semi final with Kilmarnock.

When asked if there was an update on the duo, he said: "No. The nature of the business means that the whole of January there will be speculation, but from my perspective I don't deal with it until it comes to me. If it comes to me, it means there's something there, but we haven't had anything like that for any players up until this point. Everybody's focused on the game.

"I don't really feel like it's dragging on because we're not hanging onto anything. In terms of incomings, we're still in a position there where if the opportunity is there, we'll move, and we tend to move quickly with these things. In terms of outgoings, it's not really something where I sit there on a daily basis and think about what's happening. I'm comfortable with where we're at in terms of the boys, they're all really focused on the next game and there's no uncertainty or instability within the group."

Postecoglou also revealed he is nearing a full complement of players with the likes of Anthony Ralston, Sead Haksabanovic and Stephen Welsh back in training, with Greg Taylor the only player remaining out. He said: “The guys who are coming back from injury, except for Greg Taylor, all of them trained today which is good. They are all back training which is good but they have only had one session so no real change from last week.”
