Ange Postecoglou shows Tottenham fans exactly what they want to see amid Daniel Levy talks

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou looks set to become Tottenham's next manager after emerging as the stand-out candidate from the recruitment process. The decision made by Daniel Levy and co. has split the Spurs fanbase to some degree with Julian Nagelsmann and Arne Slot, who were both firmly in the running and well-liked, no longer considered options by the club.

Postecoglou is coming off the back of a domestic treble in Scotland achieved this season and his recent press conferences have been filled with talk of the rumours linking him to a north London move. Ahead of the Scottish Cup final. the bulk of questions had some relevance to Tottenham with minimal mention of Celtic's cup final that was scheduled for that weekend.

Upon being asked if anything had changed given he had become the favourite, Postecoglou replied: "No, someone else was favourite last week weren't they? Yeah so (smiles). Yeah. It doesn't register. I get all the interest and why people love to speculate about these things. It doesn’t register. I get that people love to speculate on these things but we’ve worked really, really hard to get ourselves into this position.

"For me to let my mind wonder about anything else other than getting our team prepared for a big day on Saturday, it’s just not who I am." Understandably, Postecoglou's focus was on winning another trophy at Celtic and now he has achieved that with his team beating Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3-1.

Quickly following that triumph, it was revealed Postecoglou was close to being appointed at Spurs and now a verbal agreement has been reached which will see the 57-year-old given a two-year contract with an option included for a further season, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Despite understandable claims that Postecoglou has never managed at an elite level, with his coaching journey starting in Australia, going through Japan and eventually landing at Celtic Park, this is a coach who has a clear attacking philosophy and winning methods that he has basically instilled everywhere he has been.

Spurs fans are crying out for a manager who cares about them, the team and their success and it's fair to say that has not been prominent in any man leading the helm since the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino. Following the first links of interest from Tottenham, a clip emerged which showed Postecoglou bellowing, "don't pass it back", which shows exactly what kind of manager he is.

Now, from his time coaching Australia, another video has surfaced which shows numerous fans the level of passion Postecoglou has for his team. In a video posted on Twitter, Postecoglou is shown in a dimly lit room leading an analysis of a goal being conceded by his team and clearly incensed by watching it back he slams the board before shouting and swearing at his players demanding that there has to be a reaction.
