Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou was visibly irritated as he confirmed that forward Kyogo Furuhashi will not be ready to face Rangers.
The Japanese international has been out since before the international break after aggravating a hamstring injury in the win over St Johnstone.
His manager moved to deny rumours that Furuhashi could miss the rest of the season, but has also refused to put a timeline on his return beyond "a few weeks".
That led some Celtic fans to hope he could make his return for the top-of-the-table showdown with Rangers, just as he did for the Premier Sports Cup final against Hibs.
But Postecoglou has ruled that out and is clearly becoming frustrated with questions over his star man.
Asked about the possibility of Kyogo returning he responded bluntly: "I said Kyogo was weeks away, I'm not a liar.
"Let's be clear about it, I don't want to be asked every week about it: I said weeks away a week ago.
"Weeks means weeks, he's got a similar injury to David Turnbull - as I've already said - and he's been out... well, you can do your own maths.
"I'm not going to give timelines but there's no point asking about Kyogo every week because nothing's going to change.
"He's out for a few weeks and once we get closer you'll see him out training."
