Ange Postecoglou insists Celtic can always count on a ruthless Kyogo Furuhashi - as he targets another signing for his imperious champions.
The Hoops strolled to a 3-0 victory over St Mirren at Parkhead to make it 20 Premiership wins from 22 this season, against the only side to have got a win against them this term. Kyogo was at the double while Liel Abada also netted on a night of many positives for the Aussie boss, with David Turnbull's long-range effort rounding off scoring.
Defender Yuki Kobayashi made an impressive debut at the heart of the Hoops defence while Sead Haksabanovic made his return from injury at the other end. Postecoglou was delighted post-match and speaking to Celtic TV, said his debutant at the back and forward in attack were two plus points: "We scored some really nice goals and credit to the lads, it was a strong, disciplined performance. Yuki handled himself well. They are a very physically team and he showed his qualities on the ball. He'll get better from that. Kyogo's quality of finishing has always been there and they were two trademark Kyogo goals."
Postecoglou added to Sportsound that after 14 wins and a draw in 15 matches following the Buddies defeat in the autumn, his side have the depth and quality to make changes like they will on Saturday against Morton on Scottish Cup duty. Another player is also eyed for arriving during the January transfer window.
He added: "We still have some time so we will see. We are maybe trying to bring one more in but we will see. It's another short turnaround Wednesday to Saturday. There's others who will get an opportunity on the weekend as we want to maintain our levels of performance."
