Ange Postecoglou insists striker Kyogo Furuhashi is the 'best' he's ever seen in terms of the forward's movement.
And the Celtic boss revisited his claim that sometimes he's left 'frustrated' by his players not being able to effectively spot the runs the Japanese attacker makes. Postecoglou was glad to mark his 100th game in charge with a win over Hearts in midweek, with Kyogo on target alongside fellow countryman Daizen Maeda - which the Japanese set up for his pal - and Sead Haksabanovic sealing a late strike to gain three points.
It's the first of a double header against Robbie Neilson's men with a testing Tynecastle tussle set for Saturday as both sides vie to book another spot at Hampden in a Scottish Cup quarter-final tie. And Postecoglou admits Kyogo is in a league of his own in some regards but that his squad must keep improving to maximise the top scorer's abilities.
He said: "He's doing his role really well, he's really disciplined. We don't always see the potential of what can come of his movement.
"I get frustrated but that's because I kind of want perfection like most managers and sometimes that doesn't exist but Kyogo's movement is outstanding. It's the best I've ever seen.
"He's so hard to pick up for the opposition and hard to pick up for us sometimes to know when exactly to play it. I felt the other night there was more opportunities to give him the ball.
"Like with the goal he set up and the goal he scored. The only way to get better at that is to keep improving. We give feedback to the players and work on it in training.
"It's not every game because you don't always get that space to do that. But where there is, we have to try and utilise it."
