Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou says he will remain active in the transfer market in the hunt to make his Hoops side stronger.
There's already been an influx of permanent and loan confirmations at Parkhead this summer. So far, they have signed Daizen Maeda, Benjamin Siegrist, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alexandro Bernabei, Jota, Moritz Jenz and Aaron Mooy with some exits also anticipated before business concludes on September 1st.
Key Celtic pieces in the jigsaw puzzle are already solved but the former Australian national team boss says that they still sit ready to pounce on targets: “We’re happy with the ones we’ve brought in. There were some areas I felt we needed strengthening from a squad perspective: goalkeeper, left-back, centre-back and midfield were definitely areas that I wanted to make us a bit stronger and more robust and it’s great we’ve done that. Re-signing Jota and Cameron on permanent deals was also an important part of what we are trying to build.
