And the Australian admits the big talker in the Highlands passed him by as he had made a sharp exit after the whistle was blown for the interval and missed Jota breaking the deadlock.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "To be honest I was in the dressing room when they said it was a penalty. I had to check and see who got it because I wasn't really sure. Getting the goal was good but I just thought we were a bit wasteful in the final third. We had opportunities to the kill the game off but when it is so tight you keep the opposition in the game.
And he eased fears over star man Greg Taylor and hopes the injury which forced him off proves nothing too serious ahead of next weekend's blockbuster with Rangers.
