Celtic hero Andy Walker senses some frustration from Ange Postecoglou at Jota's recent form - insisting the winger needs to do more, or risk being dropped.
Postecoglou pulled no punches with his recent assessment of their win over Livingston as Celtic dominated the play but only emerged with a 2-1 win to show for it. They were firing before the break but haven't quite convinced in the final third against Aberdeen and the Lions.
Walker, speaking on Go Radio, reckons Jota in particular has been one of the culprits and is capable of better than he has shown in the last two games. He reckons Postecoglou's "frustration" at his form as well as the other attacking stars is evident, and wouldn't be surprised to see the Australian rip up his teamsheet for the Christmas Eve clash with St Johnstone. Walker told Go Radio: "You're just looking for a bit more from Jota. Everyone knows he's capable of it. He's got a better end product than he's giving at the moment.
"At Pittodrie he had a couple of attempts at goal that weren't his best and you can hear the frustration in Ange Postecoglou's voice when he talks about the team not being at their best. A lot of balls going into the box and no-one on the end of them.
"That is a big feature of their play. Whether it's down the right or left, that wide player has to get in. If it's coming down the right with Abada, Jota has to try and get on the end of things. There's definitely a bit of frustration there and you might see a few changes at the weekend."
