Ange Postecoglou has defended Tottenham's decision to appeal against Rodrigo Bentancur's seven-match ban and says he has "made bigger mistakes" than the Uruguayan midfielder.

Bentancur was also fined £100,000 by the Football Association (FA) for a racial slur against team-mate Heung-min Son in a TV interview, which was released in June.
