Ange Postecoglou could be set to add yet another player to his ever-growing list of Japanese superstars in the coming months - with reports suggesting a move taking Ryotaro Ito to Celtic is in the offing.
Hoops boss Postecoglou joined the club just under two years ago from J-League outfit Yokohama F. Marinos, and despite the Australian boss raising a few eyebrows due to his lack of experience in the European leagues, he has all but wiped the floor with Scottish football ever since - winning four of the possible five domestic trophies in Scotland in the meantime, failing only to grab last season's Scottish Cup after losing to Rangers in the semi-final.
By and large, he has achieved this with a squad that he has created himself; indeed, only seven of the current squad were playing in the famous green and white hoops prior to his arrival. Now, the squad boasts five Japanese players in Kyogo, Reo Hatate, Tomoki Iwata, Yuki Kobayashi and Daizen Maeda, with the largely untapped east Asian market being Ange's speciality.
