Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham squad is to be given a further boost this week with the signing of Manor Solomon. Already converting Dejan Kulusevski's 18-month loan into a permanent move and completing deals for Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison, the former Fulham man will bolster Tottenham's attacking options once he has signed on the dotted line.
Set to pen a long-term contract in N17, the 23-year-old will arrive at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a free agent, should FIFA rules dictate that Solomon can end his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Always needing to strengthen on the wing this summer with Arnaut Danjuma returning to Villarreal following his loan spell and Lucas Moura's contract expiring, Solomon will add to Postecoglou's exciting options in attack.
The Israel international was restricted to only 24 appearances for Fulham last season but he did make quite the impression in his first season in England. Having made his Premier League debut against Liverpool on the opening weekend of the 2022/23 campaign, Solomon sustained a knee injury in a behind-closed-doors match the following week and didn't make his return until the start of 2023.
