Andy Robertson defended Scotland fans booing his side after a dismal 3-0 defeat to Ireland in the Aviva Stadium.

Scotland were back in action after their defeat of Armenia but were left licking their wounds against Ireland.

The result and performance gave Steve Clarke’s men confidence for the trip to Dublin to play an Irish side who had lost their opening two League B Group One games and indeed were looking for their first ever Nations League win and Scotland looked a sorry side for much of the game..
