Djokovic abruptly withdrew after losing the first set of his semi-final against Alexander Zverev due to pain from a muscle tear in his leg sustained in the victory over Carlos Alcaraz on Tuesday became too much. He was booed by sections of the crowd as he left the Rod Laver Arena.
