SCOTTISH sporting legend Andy Murray had the perfect reaction to a mural which was painted in his honour in his hometown.
A 20-foot mural to celebrate the achievements of the tennis star has been painted on the side of the club where he first learned to play in Dunblane.
The mural depicts Murray on court holding a tennis racket and celebrating, with the words “Sir Andy,” “warrior” and “legend”.
Murray offered a hilarious reaction to the mural as he said that some of the locals “might object to having to look at my ugly mug”.
Responding to LBC journalist Rebecca Brady, who shared a video of the mural being painted on Twitter/X, Murray said: “I had absolutely no idea this was happened [shocked face emoji] thanks to tennis tv and the artists for doing this [heart emoji] although some of the locals might object to having to look at my ugly mug on the side of the building [smiling face emoji]”.

The mural was designed by Murwalls and was completed on Thursday.
Murray retired from the sport earlier this month, after being knocked out of the men's doubles quarter finals at the Paris Olympics.
Upon retiring, Murray took to social media with the perfect reaction, writing: "Never even liked tennis anyway."
Sandy Fleming, a coach at the tennis club, told LBC: “It is one of the coolest pieces of art I think I’ve ever seen in Scotland – certainly in Dunblane.
“It’s just really different to anything I’ve seen before. It’s a stunning tribute to Andy.”
