Andy Goram told how he had over 100 visitors when he was being treated in hospital.
Ex-teammates and former Celtic players rushed to his bedside after it was announced he was fighting cancer.
He said: “My worry was were they all coming to say their cheerios?
“I realised later they were there because they possibly like me more than I thought.”
Goram revealed he even managed to raise a laugh when ex-Gers defender Marvin Andrews turned up.
He jokingly put the Christian faith healer on the spot and asked: “Come on Marv, heal me.”
Andrews replied: “I can’t, bro.”
Goram said: “There were four or five people in the room when big Marv bounced through the door. We had a giggle about it. Even the Miracle Man can’t help.”
