THE SNP have critiqued Andy Burnham's pledge to end homelessness, claiming the move is hypocritical while "the Labour Party has driven more than 33,000 Scottish households into hardship".

This claim comes after research into the decision to freeze a key Westminster-controlled benefit for renters.
