ANDY Burnham has been mocked online after posting a video of himself rating AI-generated images of his proposed No 10 North headquarters – with people accusing the Labour leadership frontrunner of "posting reaction TikToks to AI slop" while dodging questions on policy.
In the video, Burnham cheerfully scored four AI-generated images of a potential northern base for his proposed prime ministerial operation, dishing out marks out of 10.
Burnham has announced plans for a “rewired Britain” with power shifted from Westminster to the regions. If he becomes prime minister later this month, as expected, he would establish a No 10 North in Manchester to act as the “nerve centre” for the plan.

Starting with the first image, Burnham said: "A northern landscape. These buildings, amazing. The Liver Building, Everton's offices are in there. But that sky, oh my goodness. We're not that menacing, are we? 5/10."
Burnham called the second one "interesting", but questioned the red sky, stating: "Maybe global warming coming to the north of England feels like that right now, doesn't it?"
He added: "But there's a big plus for this one. Yellow train. Where's the bee on it? Without that? But still, a good 7/10."
The third generated image showed a "very Manchester scene going on here" according to Burnham.
"Canal, bit of Spinningfields or something like that. Old building with a new building at the side. Again, maybe a little on the gloomy side with that sky, but this is a solid 8.5/10."
The final image was branded "a winner".
"Look at this. Absolutely brilliant. Manchester vibes in the area. Don't look back, not in anger, don't look back to Westminster. I'm loving this. 9.5/10."
Actor James Dreyfus replied to the video: "I’m not sure you’ve grasped how angry most people are right now. Perhaps lay off the obnoxiously jocular videos for the moment and take the current situation seriously?"
Academic Lisa McKenzie said: "I don't want a poster competition Andy Burnham, none of us do. We just don't want to live in the constant fear of being homeless, freezing in winter and living in poverty despite working every hour god sends".
Gerard McDermott KC replied: "So disappointing … I have engaged in debate about this leadership contest and have always conceded that Andy Burnham has done a good job in Manchester which I think he has.
"I hope he will succeed as Prime Minister as we all should, but he needs to remember he is a PM in waiting … not an influencer."
