ANDY Burnham has congratulated Denmark and the US on a deal to “strengthen security in the Arctic” after the two countries reached an agreement over Greenland.

The US president announced the deal on Friday after months of demanding control of Greenland and repeatedly refusing to rule out taking the territory by military force.
