Misfits Boxing promoter Mams Taylor has claimed Andrew Tate wants two warm-up fights before he faces Logan Paul.
Controversial kickboxer Tate has been heavily linked with a return to the squared circle following his rise to fame on social media. YouTube star Paul, who has fought both KSI and Floyd Mayweather in the ring, issued a call-out to Tate over a potential fight which Tate accepted before the content creator later made a U-turn following his rival's ban from all social media platforms.
Tate this week declared he would fight Paul for free, but later claimed that he would demand to be the A-side and earn more financial reward than either of the American siblings. However Misfits Boxing matchmaker Taylor has claimed that an offer was made to the 35-year-old this week that has been rejected, tweeting: "Andrew Tate publicly said he will fight Logan for free! Offer made! (And not for free) Response: He wants two warm up fights before fighting Logan, Top G!"
Tate's most recent MMA fight came back in December 2020 when he was knocked out by Evgeniy Egemberdiev in Moscow, Russia and he is no longer active in the fighting circle.
However he has stated his plans to to take on a new challenge and has resumed training ahead of a potential comeback against a fellow social media star. Tate has revealed that is more likely that he will fight Logan than Jake but has emphasised his ideal plan to get negotiations completed to his liking.
"It's a matter of making sure the deal gets done correctly," he explained. "I'm not going to allow any of these social media clowns to pretend that they're the A-Side of negotiations when I'm the most famous man on the planet, they do not deserve more money than me, in fact it's the opposite.

"If they don't fight me they fight bums, KSI won't fight me because he's afraid. He just tweeted this morning that I'm too big for him, after calling me out and I said yes. He said my name, I said yes and then he made an excuse. Logan and Jake are obviously on the cards, there's somebody else we're talking about, but perhaps more Logan than Jake."
Paul had previously been keen to fight Tate but has since withdrawn his offer having been reluctant to give Tate a platform after being banned for his contentious views on women. The American was angered by the YouTuber's change of heart and issued fresh criticism.
“I don’t feel like platforming this guy,” he said on his Impaulsive podcast. “I don’t feel like giving him the blessing of being my dance partner in the ring. Especially after the social media platforms have made it very clear how they feel about this guy. Because whether you believe it or not, the s**t that Andrew Tate is saying will have a ripple effect much more dangerous than you can imagine.”
