Heartbroken Dublin dad Andrew McGinley has paid tribute to "incredible" Daniel O’Donnell after the singer helped to raise a whopping €100,000 through a charity show in memory of his three children.
Donegal-born crooner Daniel performed a very special concert at St Finian’s Community Hall in Newcastle in Dublin Thursday night, with 200 fans in attendance.
The lucky fans won the concert tickets in a raffle for Andrew McGinley’s charity As Darragh Did, set up in memory of his son Darragh, which helps to support clubs, societies and community groups across the country.

Taking to social media after the concert, Mr McGinley thanked the Donegal star for his help.
He wrote: "I cannot sing the praises of Daniel enough for his support for As Darragh Did. Having sang and entertained for 2 hours, he then stayed until every last person got the photos and autographs they wanted.
"An incredible man to whom I’ll be eternally grateful."
Thursday night's intimate event took place close to the McGinley family home in Newcastle where the children Conor, Darragh and Carla were killed by their mother Deirdre Morley, who was found not guilty of their murder by reason of insanity in May 2020.
As Darragh Did is one of a number of projects that their dad Andrew McGinley has set up to keep the memories of his children alive.
Mr McGinley has also set up Conor's Clips a Twitter account posting home videos in honor of his late son Conor, and the Build A Snowman campaign for his late daughter Carla.
