Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix continued her impressive rise by claiming European Championship gold for Great Britain on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old diver, daughter of First Dates star Fred Sirieix, won the women’s 10m platform event in Rome, beating Ukraine’s Sofiia Lyskun with her final dive. Her compatriot Lois Toulson finished in sixth with a total of 295.70.
