Andrea Bocelli got "big satisfaction" from singing at the weddings of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.
The 66-year-old tenor sang for reality superstar Kim when she tied the knot with Kanye West in 2014 and then again for her sister Kourtney when she married Blink-182 rocker Travis Barker in 2022 and found it an honour to be chosen to perform for each of the siblings on their special days.
He told US TV show 'Extra': "If they choose your voice for their wedding, it’s a beautiful thing. I think it’s a big satisfaction for me."
Despite being delighted at being able to sing for each of 'The Kardashians' stars, his dual involvement sparked something of a feud between the sisters at the time, when Kim - who has North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five, with Kanye, who she divorced in 2021 - became furious that Kourtney had "copied" her own wedding.
Speaking on 'The Kardashians', she said: "Kim said: "I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney's wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my f******* wedding country and my wedding performer! Andrea Bocelli is my favourite male singer of all time."
Shortly after the drama unfolded in scenes of the Hulu reality show, Andrea himself quipped that he was "flattered" to be so "loved" by the sisters as he gave his son a shoutout.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: "Dear @kimkardashian and @kourtneykardash. I'm so flattered that you both love my voice and I'll always be happy to sing for you. But know that there's a younger and far more helpful artist @matteobocelli who your mother @krisjenner also knows very well ... See you soon in Tuscany!"
