Lima on the fight's key moment
“I’m happy to be able to showcase more of my striking. That’s my background – everybody knows that. It’s always good to be able to do three rounds of standup.”
Lima on his weight miss
“I’m very upset as everybody was with my weight miss. It’s something that’s not normal for me. I don’t quite know what happened. We had an error on my diet, or it was the travel, but I did all that I could.”
Lima on what he wants next
“I’m anxious to get back here as soon as possible and look for the knockout next time. … I’m still thinking about staying at flyweight, but my coaches, my managers I think they think it’s better for me to go to bantamweight. I’ll do that easily, as well. But I’m ready to show everybody that flyweight’s my division, and next fight come here, make championship weight, get the bonus, and show everybody that I belong here. I’m very upset – very upset – but I’m willing to do whatever is best to make sure that never happens again.”
