TIRUPATI: Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the Srinivasa Sethu Elevated Expressway project on the sidelines of his two-day visit to the temple city of Tirupati in Chittoor district on September 27.
Originally named as the "Garuda Varadhi", the Rs 684-crore project — which was actually approved in 2018 — was downsized to Rs 533 crore by pruning some portions of the civil work after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)-led government came to power.
