Andhra Group-I exam SIT report flags unauthorised evaluators, OMR changes

Amaravati: An SIT probing the 2018 Andhra Pradesh Group-I recruitment examination has uncovered alleged irregularities across multiple stages of evaluation, including the use of unauthorised evaluators, purported manual evaluation at a private resort and widespread alterations in OMR evaluation sheets.

The probe pertains to Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission's (APPSC) recruitment of 169 Group- I posts through a notification issued in 2018. It attracted more than 1.14 lakh applications.
