Andersen sensational, Zaha dominant: Crystal Palace player ratings after emphatic Arsenal win

Vicente Guaita - 7

Had very little to deal with during the 90 minutes as Arsenal struggled to manage any cohesiveness in front of goal. Got out to deny Emile Smith-Rowe in the second half but the effort was straight at him.

Tyrick Mitchell - 7

Built on his England debut last week with another strong performance tonight. Was always alert and walked off the pitch having kept Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard quiet for the majority of the match.

Marc Guehi - 7

The skipper was calm and composed and once again was dominant alongside Andersen to keep a well-deserved clean sheet once again in the Premier League. Made a monster block to deny Smith-Rowe with ten minutes of the game remaining.

Joachim Andersen - 9

Picked up two assists for the first two goals and was a colossus in his own half too as Palace frustrated their visitors in both boxes. Must have smashed several free-kicks into the top corner during training as was given a chance from 25 yards in the second half only to see his powerful strike held by Aaron Ramsdale.

Nathaniel Clyne - 7

Made some key interceptions in the first half and limited the impact Emile Smith Rowe had on the match operating on the left-wing.

Cheikhou Kouyate - 7

Showed his class yet again and won several ground duels that broke up Arsenal's attacks before they could get much momentum. Should continue in the defensive midfield role for the remainder of the season as Palace's strongest option in that part of the pitch.

Jeffrey Schlupp - 7

Less of an influence that he's had in recent games but still a professional and composed performance from the Ghanaian who will be hoping to play himself into contention for a starting spot at Wembley in a fortnight.

Conor Gallagher - 7

Delivered a wicked ball into the box that led to the opener and kept his energy levels high throughout despite a slight knee injury picked up in the build-up to Monday.

Wilfried Zaha - 9

Won the free-kick that led to Palace's opener and was a willing runner throughout the game looking to spread Arsenal's defence. Tore into Arsenal's backline in the second period and was close on several occasions to increase the lead. Showed great persistence to eventually win his penalty in the second half and then showed composure to send Ramsdale the wrong way and make it 3-0.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - 8

Was in the right place at the right time to nod past Ramsdale in the first half and put Palace ahead. Showed his strong link-up play and his improved ball-winning ability in abundance. Had a first-time effort from Zaha's cutback well saved by Ramsdale in the first half.

Jordan Ayew - 8

Worked incredibly hard and had some good moments in the first half linking up with Gallagher on the right side before scoring his second goal of the season with a neat finish past Aaron Ramsdale from just inside the box.
