Ana Lidia Martins has delivered an exciting update on her wedding to Newcastle United star Bruno Guimarães as the Magpies get set to head down to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final, revealing that she's been for the first fitting of her dress.
Nutritionist Ana was by Bruno's side as he flew into Tyneside at the start of 2022 to seal his big money move to NUFC from Lyon. Since then, as Bruno quickly became a big favourite with United fans, Ana has thrown herself into life in Newcastle, with her a regular presence in the stands at St James' Park and the couple enjoyed date nights at Rio Steakhouse in Jesmond, the same place they celebrated Bruno's call up the Brazilian World Cup squad near the end of last year.
Ana and Bruno welcomed baby son Mateo into the world last year and, prior to his birth, the midfielder popped the question at their Newcastle home. Sharing a close up of the ring he got for Ana on Instagram, Bruno penned a heartfelt post in Portuguese, which, when translated to English read: "Fulfilling our dream with this extra step! I'm very happy for everything that has been happening in our lives and in our family, may we always be light for each other, may you always be my comfort zone as I am for you! I'm sure I made the best decision I've ever made in my life! Grateful to God to have you as my wife and my best friend."
